OSHA Issues Guidance on Transgender Restroom Access

Transgender employees should have access to the restroom that corresponds to their gender identity, according to new guidance issued by the Occupational Safety and Heath Administration (OSHA). The National Center for Transgender Equality requested OSHA develop the four-page guidance, Guide to Restroom Access for Transgender Workers, to ensure transgender employees can work in a manner that is consistent with the way they live the rest of their lives.
