Maintenance and engineering managers who need to dispose of unwanted paints and coatings products often are limited to government-run hazardous waste facilities and one-day roundup events that feature limited hours, days and locations.

PaintCare has programs in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont, with plans to include Washington, D.C. Officials hope to introduce the program in other states.
