The SweepEx Pro 720 is built with a 72-inch-long mainframe and comes standard with a fork hitch. Managers also can specify three-point rigid and bucket-lip mounting kits. With these options, the attachment is adaptable to many service vehicles, including riding mowers. The attachment is constructed of powder-coat-finished steel and includes eight brush rows to accommodate most maintenance tasks. Quick-change cable cartridges make cable changing cleaner and easier, and Flexicore® wire-rope center cables provide strength and flexibility. The unit is designed for use in tight spots, and once operators squeeze the feed lever, three offset rollers in the automatic feed grip the cable and drive it into the line.

PAR/LED light bulbs
The parabolic-aluminized-reflector (PAR), light-emitting-diode (LED) bulbs are ideal for can light fixtures. The bulbs operate at 120 volts alternating current and use 1/ 10 of the power of incandescent bulbs. There is no filament to break, and the bulbs are cool to the touch. The bulbs fit standard E26 U.S. light sockets. The 150 LED PAR 38 model measures 4.8 inches in diameter by 4.8 inches deep. The 60 LED PAR 30 model is 3.74 inches in diameter by 3.23 inches deep. The 42 LED PAR 20 is 2.48 inches in diameter by 2.95 inches deep.

The lightweight 35S features the X-CEL™ knob, roller bearings, and pin upgrades for easier stainless-steel cutting. The knob allows quicker tube cutting with its larger, more ergonomic design, and its roller bearings reduce friction while increasing cut speed. Workers can use the pin to quickly change the spare wheel stored in the knob. Although it was specifically designed for use on stainless steel, the 35S also cuts copper, steel and aluminum tubing. The 227S and 223S inner-outer reamers for stainless steel, copper, steel, and aluminum include integrated measurement tools for faster and easier use.

Personal lift
The LiftPod combines the portability of a ladder with the stability of a work platform. The lift features an enclosed platform and 14-foot working height, which provides greater stability than ladders and allows workers to move hands-free within the basket, helping increase safety. The platform also contains a work tray to carry tools and materials. The unit is portable between sites in a truck and around the work site on wheels. One worker can carry and move each module and assemble the unit in less than 30 seconds. Each unit weighs about 50 pounds and workers can quickly disassemble and transfer it. A battery-operated drill or an optional battery pack powers the lift’s elevation.

Aerator attachment
The Plugr Tow Pro is a 45-inch, self-contained attachment with a universal mount for most tow vehicles, including riding mowers, four-wheelers, or small utility vehicles. An independent engine drives the reciprocating aerators into the ground to make holes deeper and cleaner. An electric start, 12-horsepower engine powers the aerator, and a 12-volt battery powers the control panel. Independent power allows mowing and aeration without draining mower power. Capacity is up to 84,000 square feet per hour – about two acres. The unit has offset capability to maneuver close to buildings and landscape with a tow vehicle wider than the aerator. Indicator lights warn operators of moving too fast or too slow.

All models are constructed of heavy-gauge steel containing a minimum of 30 percent post-consumer recycled steel. Receptacles are available in textured-black, silver-metallic or desert-pearl Uni-Koat®, powder-coated finishes or satin-finished stainless steel. Each receptacle features a leak-proof, plastic liner and adjustable leg levelers to provide stability on uneven surfaces. Round models feature lift-off tops and a 26-gallon capacity. Square models feature folding retainer bands to keep can liners out of sight and piano-hinged tops for easy emptying, all in a 29-gallon capacity.

The nLight® system integrates occupancy-based, daylight-based, time-based, and manual control methods. The system requires no centrally hardwired equipment and allows managers to deliver increased energy savings and occupant convenience via one system, all while lowering equipment and installation costs. The system establishes a communication network between lighting-control devices, including occupancy sensors, power packs, photocells, wall switches, and dimmers. This network creates a system with distributed intelligence, meaning the devices within each individual zone carry out all lighting-control decisions, as well as all switching and dimming actions.

Climate-control system
The starter kit comes with one radio-controlled module – the base unit – an interface module, an external and removable antenna, connection cables, mounting accessories, installation instructions, and a user manual. The base unit typically mounts near the radiant system manifolds. It can accommodate up to 12 thermostats and control up to 14 thermal actuators. The base unit uses a special radio protocol to connect individual room thermostats to it. Occupants can view the temperatures and settings of any room from one location and can set vacation and setback schedules for the entire system without having to go to each thermostat. To accommodate larger systems, the interface can control up to three base units, and technicians can program it for up to five temperature setbacks.

The showerheads feature an optimized spray pattern to preserve the typical showering experience when using full-flow showerheads. The design does not require any special floor or ceiling construction, which makes the partitions suitable for new construction or building renovations. The partitions are available in 26 shades, including a 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic option. All units are made from 1-inch-thick, high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The commercial line includes: interior and exterior latex and alkyd paints in a variety of sheens; ceiling paints; dry falls; primers; and porch and floor paints. A unique color palette was launched in conjunction with these architectural paints. To support this expanded offering of bulk paints and coatings, the company has introduced Color-on-Demand, a tint-to-order program. Customers can select a color from a Krylon Industrial or commercial coatings color palette or submit a custom color request to be matched. The paint then is tinted at a Krylon distribution center and shipped directly to the customer.

The systems with R-410A refrigerant use all-aluminum, micro-channel condensers, which help extend product life. The R-410A units are available with high efficiencies that exceed ASHRAE 90.1-2010 requirements, helping reduce operating costs. The units are more robust than traditional designs, and the all-aluminum construction eliminates galvanic corrosion, making them more resistant to corrosion in any environment, including seacoast applications. The systems help reduce service costs because the refrigerant has no significant glide. Technicians only have to replace the lost refrigerant if a leak occurs. The units have capacities from 30 to 140 tons.

The ACS55 features a descriptive interface, a compact and slim design, a removable mounting clip, and the optional DriveConfig kit. The kit is a new tool for volume manufacturing, offering faster and safer drive configuration. It is a personal-computer tool that enables parameter setting and software updating without the need for a power connection. The drives can remain in their delivery boxes during configuration. The kit features online drive control and monitoring of up to four signals simultaneously. Three widths are available – 1.77 inches, 2.66 inches, and 2.77 inches – depending on the power rating. The small-horsepower (hp) model has a rating of 0.25-3 hp.

The P36000 also features standard oil cooled wet disc brakes. Photovoltaic fuses
Sophisticated solar-panel systems contain photovoltaic (PV) strings that consist of small solar-power cells connected in series or parallel. The 10-by-38 millimeter (mm) cylindrical-fuse package allows technicians to use off-the-shelf modular fuse holders, fuse blocks, PCB clips, and bolt-fixing blocks, and the package also comes with available tabs for direct soldering onto a circuit board. With ratings from 8A to 15A at 1000Vdc, the fuse line is manufactured to meet global standards of the 10-by-38 mm fuse package for coordination with 4-, 5-, and 6-inch solar cell panels.

Users apply Migrate Turf Spray by spraying it directly onto grass areas, such as golf courses, parks, fields, or anywhere geese or ducks are causing problems. When the birds go to graze, they realize the food is inedible and move on. The repellent lasts three months and will not wash off with rain or water. The turf spray contains a biodegradable, food-grade repellent – methyl anthranilate – which is safe for geese, pets, and people. The product is sold by the gallon and covers 16,000 square feet.

The Smart Tool Crib™ system permits authorized employees to log into the system using existing identification cards and select specific tools or equipment from compartments identified on a flat-panel monitor. After successful log-in, the doors open automatically, allowing users to remove the items. Closure of the door identifies the compartment as empty and records the identity of the person who accessed it. The system logs user access, duration of possession, and time of return, supporting a number of reporting options. Administrators can open all doors in seconds or lock down the system altogether. The system incorporates a mixture of 48-inch-tall, two- and four-tier compartments workers can access using a standard keyboard and card-swipe interface.

The Merv 8 30/30 air filter has a low initial resistance and a low maintained resistance to airflow. The filter’s radial pleat design allows full use of the media for maximum dust-holding capacity. Tests show the 30/30 has 30 percent higher dust holding capacity than conventional Merv 8 filters, which translates to longer service life and less change-outs. A welded wire grid, spot welded on 1-inch centers, secures the radial media pleats. The grid is treated for corrosion protection and is bonded to the media to prevent oscillation. A wet-strength beverage-board frame creates a stable, non-yielding media pack.

The unit can receive and display data from up to three different remote sensor modules, and data is transmitted every 30 seconds. The display’s trend indicators determine if humidity and temperature are rising or falling. A minimum-maximum memory display allows monitoring of conditions over short or long periods, including overnight and weekends. An alarm sounds when the humidity or temperature exceeds the high and low setpoints. The unit’s range is 65-100 feet, depending on location or number of walls. The relative humidity range is 25-90 percent with a resolution of 1 percent. The switchable thermometer range is minus-4 to 140 degrees with a resolution of 0.1 degree. The cases are made of high-impact, chemical-resistant plastic, and batteries operate continuously for eight months.

The units meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Tier 4 emissions regulations. The generator sets are rated at 10, 15, 20 and 25 kilowatts. The low-emissions units are available with a weather-protective and/or sound-attenuated enclosure made of steel or aluminum. They are designed for locations with strict emissions and noise-control regulations, such as construction sites. The units feature four-cycle, naturally aspirated, in-line diesel engines with low exhaust emissions. The cooling system’s design allows an enclosed generator set to run at full standby load in up to 131 degrees ambient air temperature. The units’ control system is the PowerCommand® 1.1 electronic control, which provides total system integration, including automatic remote start and stop. The control system also provides precise frequency and voltage regulation, alarm and status message display, output metering, and automatic shutoff at fault detection.
