Go West!
Facility Decisions, Sept. 16-17, 2008, will bring more than 35 free educational sessions, exhibit hall, networking sessions to Las Vegas
A new trade show dedicated to meeting the unique information needs of facility executives who are responsible for the management, operation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings will launch next year.
Called Facility Decisions, the event will be hosted in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Sept. 16 and 17, 2008.
Brought to market by Trade Press Publishing Corp. and ROC Exhibitions, Facility Decisions will alternate every other year with Facilities Midwest Expo, which is also produced jointly by Trade Press Publishing and ROC Exhibitions. Facilities Midwest takes place next month at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill. (See Website).
“Every year, facility professionals from West Coast states ask us to hold a conference and expo closer to them,” says Bob Wisniewski, co-owner of Facility Decisions and president of Trade Press Publishing. “We’re thrilled to deliver a world-class conference and exposition our attendees and exhibitors expect in a region renowned for its robust and continual growth in facilities management,” Like Facilities Midwest, and the company’s industry-acclaimed national show, the National Facilities Management & Technology Conference and Expo (NFMT), Facility Decisions will feature executive-level educational sessions that focus on significant, timely issues facing the facilities industry. The exhibit floor will be designed as a showplace featuring the latest products and services facility professionals are seeking. Both exhibits and conferences will be offered to attendees at no charge.
“The number of high-tech, commercial office, education, medical, hospitality and entertainment facilities west of the Mississippi is tremendous,” says Wisniewski. “As a result, the demand for products and services needed to keep these buildings operating at peak efficiency is enormous. Facility Decisions is designed to tap the full potential of the region’s rich and diverse facilities market.”
Facility Decisions 2008 will include more than 35 free educational conference sessions, several networking events and an exhibit hall with an estimated 200 national suppliers showcasing their latest products and services. The show is expected to attract 2,000 facility professionals.
