The American Ladder Institute (ALI) offers free online training and webinars that maintenance and engineering managers can integrate into their training and safety programs.
Managers have the option to tailor the courses and webinars to their needs. The site also offers training managers the option of a custom dashboard, a Trainer’s Toolbox, that allows managers the options to select the training and testing options, assign them to trainees and monitor performance and progress. The dashboards can track staff trainees ranging from smaller teams to hundreds of employees.
ALI offered Ladder Safety Month in March, but the program is still available on the site. The topics addressed: Training and Awareness; Inspection and Maintenance; Stabilization, Setup and Accessories; and Safe Climbing and Positioning.
