Risk Assessment Workshop offered at NFMT

  March 3, 2016

By Dave Lubach

Institutional and commercial facilities are faced with risks in every aspect of their facilities and maintenance operations. To mitigate those risks, maintenance and engineering managers must first be able to identify the issue and evaluate the situation before establishing priorities and developing a plan.

NFMT 2016 in Baltimore will host a facility risk assessment pre-conference workshop on Monday, March 21 from 1-5 p.m. Presented by Michael Cowley, the president of CE Maintenance Solutions, and Paul Head, senior manager for Ernst & Young Construction and Real Estate Advisory Services, attendees can learn strategies to determine risk exposure and prioritize remediation projects that lower risk and improve the performance of organizations.

The presenters will teach attendees how to use facility risk assessment to implement a risk management plan and instruct how to develop, maintain and monitor risk action plans.

Considered America’s No. 1 facilities conference and expo show, NFMT offers three days of facilities management education, inspiring sessions featuring nationally renown speakers, and an expo hall featuring vendors who can help meet your facilities’ needs.

Registration is free for the conference at www.nfmt.com/baltimore.
