Whether a manager’s choice is to buy or rent cooling equipment, a trained and experienced installer for the particular cooling equipment is essential. Managers have three avenues in this case: using trained and experienced staff technicians; sending technicians to classes; or outsourcing the installation and maintenance as a part of the purchase or rental agreement.
Video installation and repair demonstration disks are viable options to supplement initial or refresher training, especially if the videos feature the same equipment being installed.
Regardless of the method used, the technicians need installation and repair manuals and the right tools, such as devices to measure airflow and parts for the specific equipment. These materials will ensure they will be able to perform the job accurately, efficiently and completely.
