Worker Respiratory Risks Target of New Resource

Three organizations have collaborated to develop a new educational monograph designed to assist hospitals in implementing respiratory protection programs in order to protect workers from exposure to respiratory hazards. The monograph was created by the Joint Commission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and the National Personal Protective Technology Laboratory.
