DOE Recognizes Lighting Technology Adopters
Organizations adopted advanced lighting controls and integrated lighting with other building systems. November 21, 2022

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Integrated Lighting Campaign recently recognized 18 organizations for leading the adoption of advanced lighting controls and integration of lighting with other building systems. The campaign is part of the Better Buildings Initiative and worked with these partners, and 20 recognized last year to demonstrate that integrated lighting systems are enabling energy savings in buildings and creating an enhanced user and occupant experience.
The DOE recognized the following organizations this year:

- Home Innovation Research Labs, Upper Marlboro, Maryland
- Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, Portland, Oregon
- Chicago Smart Lighting Program, Chicago
- University of Vermont, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Burlington
- MRA Group, Spring House Innovation Park
- Vertical Harvest Farms, Jackson, Wyoming
- Seed Capital, Phoenix
- Columbia University, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York City
