Part 5 of a five-part article on lighting controls
Ideal Industries Inc.
The Audacy wireless energy management system provides control of multi-building lighting systems through an app by automatically sensing and adjusting to ambient light, movement and room occupancy. The system features: maintenance-free, battery-powered devices; integration with existing building automation systems; custom control of individual light fixtures; and compatibility with linear fluorescents, cans, downlights, and LED troffer fixtures.

The LMRC-110 series joins the suite of Digital Lighting Management load controllers. It enables faster installations, supports metering and adds flexibility for LED lighting and 0-10 volt (V) dimming. Newer capabilities and options include: knockout mounting for faster and easier installation and wiring; Class 1 pigtails and Class 2 terminals for 0-10 V; and galvanic isolation between Class 1 and Class 2 0-10 V.

SmartCast Power over Ethernet consists of an intuitively simpler, scalable and open platform that enables the Internet of Things for buildings. The lighting platform makes the Cisco Digital Ceiling framework available for deployment and adoption. The series of lights, switches and dimmers operates with the network architecture.
Enlighted Inc.
The intelligent lighting control family includes four sensors that serve indoor and outdoor applications. The sensors use wireless networking to connect to each other and send data to a cloud infrastructure via a secure and robust wireless connection. The sensors also offer dual channel control so that each sensor can control two drivers to provide color tuning for fixtures with compatible drivers.

The universal dimming module (UDM) multi-protocol driver allows conversions between popular control protocols that allow for maximum control flexibility and integration with fixtures. The UDM inputs are DMX and 0-10 volt (V), while outputs are DMX, 0-10 V, and IGBT digital-line-voltage dimming. Operating with 0-10 V sink power, the unit can deliver an output of 25 milli-amps.
