Description: The Low Voltage Electrician, assigned to the Utilities Shop within the Energy, Utilities & Sustainability unit of Facilities Development & Operations works independently or as a team member under the general supervision of the Utilities Shop Supervisor. The Low Voltage Electrician performs a full range of skilled journey- level electrical and related work including the installation, maintenance, modification, troubleshooting and repair of electrical apparatuses, equipment and systems and is responsible for a full range of journey-level skilled work in fire alarm, sub-metering and access/security systems (i.e. keyless entry, intrusion/panic alarms) to ensure a clean, safe, attractive and well-maintained campus environment.
