Description: The Ventura Port District, an equal opportunity employer, is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of full-time Maintenance Technician I in the District’s Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate can perform skilled tasks in maintenance, replacement and repair of District buildings and facility equipment, has strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions (rain and wind) and perform repetitive tasks.
This position is anticipated to work weekend and/or evening hours. $4,629 - $7,082/month + benefits. Categorization and placement within the salary ranges may be dependent on factors such as experience, education, and training. The position will be open until filled.
