ASHRAE has released a manual to help managers navigate the changes in its 2007 ventilation standard.

The Standard 62.1-2007 manual provides managers with a better understanding of the design, installation, and operation requirements in ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2007, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality.

Published last year, the standard contains new requirements for the separation of environmental-tobacco-smoke (ETS) spaces from ETS-free spaces, clarification of humidity-control design requirements, and new rates for high-rise residential occupancies.

To order the manual, visit www.ashrae.org/bookstore.
