What steps should be taken to prepare an HVAC system for the transition into fall and winter?
For the heating season (winter), you need to have all your boilers serviced. It is good to service them before the heating season, and don’t forget to check your water treatment! More water boilers fail because of poor water treatment — check it regularly. This issue should be addressed 30 to 60 days before you want to fire your boiler, not a week in advance.
