Many maintenance and engineering managers with institutional and commercial facilities are seeking opportunities to cut costs and upgrade the energy efficiency of their chillers.
One way for managers to accomplish these goals is through local utilities’ rebate and incentive programs. One resource for managers to find available incentives is DSIRE, a U.S. Department of Energy program operated by the North Carolina Clean Energy Technology Center at N.C. State University.
In addition to providing managers with a list of rebates and incentives available across the country, DSIRE analyzes energy policy topics and provides information to help managers make informed decisions on incentives to pursue.
