Trinity Mother Frances to Build Community Hospital

  December 23, 2015

Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics will break ground in south Tyler, Texas, as construction begins on a 41,200-square-foot community hospital.

As part of the expansion, TMF has entered into a joint venture partnership with Emerus to build and manage the site. This agreement will position TMF for future growth opportunities to accommodate the area's rising population.

MFH South Tyler will include a comprehensive emergency department, inpatient beds, advanced imaging, and diagnostic laboratory services. The second level will house an imaging center, and the third floor will comprise an ambulatory service center with a complement of five OR suites.

The new hospital is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2016.
