IIDA Names Healthcare Interior Design Competition Winners

The International Interior Design Association announced the winners of the 2015 Healthcare Interior Design Competition, which recognizes excellence in the design and furnishings of healthcare interior spaces.

The best of competition honoree is EwingCole (Philadelphia) for its project Memorial Sloan Kettering Ambulatory Cancer Center. The firm’s project was also recognized as winner in the ambulatory care centers – outpatient clinics category.

Medical Office Building Public Spaces—Project: Palo Alto Medical Foundation, San Carlos Center, San Carlos, Calif. Firm: NBBJ, Seattle

Hospitals:

Community/Academic/Teaching Hospitals—Project: University Medical Center – New Orleans (UMC), New Orleans, La. Firm: NBBJ, Seattle / Blitch Knevel, New Orleans, La.

Women’s—Project: Chongqing Angel Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Chongqing, China. Firm: Robarts Spaces Ltd., Beijing
