  October 10, 2016

Family members who want to stay overnight with Stamford (Conn.) Hospital patients can now do so in relative luxury, in a private adjoining room that could cost hundreds of dollars a night, according to an article on the Stamford Advocate website.

The suites are designed to replace hotel stays for family members.

The signature suites will be available in November and feature a bed, desk, refrigerator, ceramic sink with tile backsplash and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Although final prices have not been set, they will fall within the market rate of $200 to $2,400 a night. The cost of a suite will depend on the meal plan a patient and their family chooses and the types of towels and sheets they want during their stay.
