As construction nears completion of the new professional office building and parking deck, which both connect to the existing hospital structure at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, crews are wrapping up landscaping.
The scope of project includes the build-out of a 12-story, 1-million-square-foot hospital constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie in 2002, as well as related construction for Daniel Corporation of a 220,000-square foot professional office building and 2,900-space parking deck.
The project also is integrating systems between the new office building and the existing hospital. The building is on schedule to open in October 2015.
