  December 17, 2015

Adventist Medical Center-Selma in Selma, Calif., is planning a $13.3 million expansion.

The addition includes a six-bed ICU and cardiac lab. Patients requiring intensive care currently have to be transferred off-site. The project also includes upgrades to the ED and surgery department, with the ED expanding from eight to 14 beds.

Layton Construction is the general contractor on the project, and construction of the ICU is expected to be completed by late summer 2016, with the ED and surgery phases to follow.
