Construction Underway on $50M Pacers, St. Vincent Facility

The Indiana Pacers and St. Vincent Health have broken ground on a $50 million training and medical facility. The 130,000 square-foot, five story building is being touted by the team as a leg up for recruiting and a new staple and healthcare access point downtown. 

In addition to Pacers' training facilities, the St. Vincent Center will include a medical facility with primary care, cardiovascular and sports performance services for the team and the public. The project is privately-funded and is slated to open in 18 months.

St. Vincent Sports Performance will offer services such as sports nutrition, sports and performance psychology, sports science and physical training from the professionals that provide services to the Verizon IndyCar Series, NFL, NBA, WNBA, USA Football, USA Gymnastics, USA Diving and USA Track & Field.

The center will be the 20th stand-alone training facility built by an NBA since in more than 15 years. It will has two regulations-sized practice courts and as part of the deal, Pacers practice jerseys will carry a St. Vincent.
