University of Canberra Hospital Project Planned

The University of Canberra Public Hospital project in Australia is planning a $102 million building will be a teaching hospital and continue the Australian Capital Territory Government's integration of clinical and teaching environments.

Featuring 140 inpatient beds and 75 day places, the hospital will be focus on subacute services, such as rehabilitation and mental health services as well as a hydrotherapy pool. 

Construction is scheduled to start in early 2016 and the hospital is expected to be fully operational by 2018.
