John Deere is recalling its XUV590 Gator line of utility vehicles due to a fire hazard. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall notice, fuel can leak from under the fuel cap, which can cause a fire.
Facility managers should stop using the utility vehicles immediately and contact a John Deere dealer for an inspection and repair. The recall affects about 1,600 vehicles sold from December 2022 through March 2023 at John Deere dealers.
So far, there have been no reported injuries.
