RECALL: Utility Tractor Recalled Due to Rollover Hazard

  December 22, 2017

By Naomi Millán

John Deere compact utility tractors have been recalled because the rollover protective structure (ROPS) at the back of the tractor can loosen and fail to protect the operator in a rollover accident. No incidents or injuries have yet been reported, according to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall number 18-705.

John Deere models 1023E and 1025R compact utility tractors are included in this recall. A complete list of serial numbers included in this recall is available John Deere's website. They were sold at John Deere dealers between March 2017 and October 2017.

Facility mangers affected by this recall are directed to stop using the tractors and contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair.
