Husqvarna is recalling its line of gas-powered gas trimmers due to a manufacturing error that caused incorrect wiring to the ignition. This can cause an electrical spark or arcing, posing a fire hazard if gas is on or inside the unit, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall notice.

The recall affects more than 400,000 grass trimmers sold at Husqvarna dealers, Lowe’s, Tractor Supply and other retail locations. If facility managers purchased one of the recalled grass trimmers, they should stop using it immediately and contact a local Husqvaran dealer for details on a repair.
