Cordless Tillers Recalled Due to Laceration Hazard

Black & Decker is recall its line of CRAFTSMAN V20 cordless tillers / cultivators due to laceration hazard. According to the Consumer Safety Product Commission’s recall notice, an error in the assembly instructions that can cause users to attach the bottom part of the tiller upside down, causing the tines to rotate toward the user.
Facility managers who purchased the cordless tillers/cultivators at any home improvement store should immediately stop using the product and contact the manufacturer for new assembly instructions.
Black & Decker reports one case of the bottom portion of the unit being installed incorrectly, but no injuries were reported.
