RECALL: Utility Vehicles Recalled Over Fuel Leak

  September 6, 2018

By Naomi Millán

Gasoline can leak from three recalled models of American Landmaster off-road utility vehicles due to a possible defect at the seam, prompting a recall of about 1,500 vehicles. The potentially leaky gasoline tanks pose a fire and burn hazard, though no incidents or injuries had been reported at the time of the recall, according to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall 18-207.

Model year 2018 Landstar, Crossroad, and Trailwagon gasoline-powered models are included in the recall. They were sold between January 2018 and July 2018. Affected model numbers are CR350, LS350, LS350DL, LS450, TW450, TW750, LS477, LS550, LS670, 677EFI, 677EPS, Crew2, Crew4, and Crew4X. Model name and numbers are printed on the hood of the vehicles. A full list of recalled vehicle identification numbers is available at the manufacturer's website.

Facility managers affected by the recall should stop using the vehicles immediately and contact American Landmaster for a free repair. American Landmaster can be reached at (800) 643-7332, recall@AmericanLandmaster.com, or www.AmericanLandmaster.com/recall.
