Awards Recognize Achievements in Healthy Buildings
Organizations demonstrate leadership and account for more than 1 billion square feet of real estate engaged in the WELL program. March 26, 2025

Maintenance and engineering managers continue their ongoing quest for strategies and tactics that can help them improve the health of indoor environments and the well-being of facilities occupants. One organization has offered guidance in these efforts in the form of recognizing global organizations that have stood out for their efforts to improve the health for their facilities.
The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), which advances healthy buildings, organizations and communities, recently announced the winners of the annual 2024 IWBI Organizational Awards. The organizations being honored for demonstrating exceptional leadership and impact at scale account for more than 1 billion square feet of real estate engaged in the WELL program. Among the 2024 recipients:
- Barclays. Regional WELL Leadership Award, Americas
- Nucleus Office Parks PVT Ltd. Building Performance Leadership Award
- JLL. WELL AP Impact Award
- CBRE Group Inc. WELL Enterprise Provider of the Year Award
Among the other organizations being recognized this year are global and Fortune 500 companies, including Citi Global, Enel, GSK and JPMorgan Chase & Co., as well as world-class real estate portfolios, including those led by Embassy REIT, Empire State Realty Trust and Lendlease. Citi, one of several organizations that received multiple awards, has embraced innovative strategies to deploy WELL, such as widespread adoption of the WELL Health-Safety Rating, earning them the Health and Safety Leadership Award.
