Changes Proposed for Green Buildings Standard

Changes have been proposed to the scope and purpose of ASHRAE/IES/USGBC/ICC Standard 189.1, Standard for the Design of High Performance Green Buildings. The standard contains minimum requirements for the siting, design and construction of high-performance green buildings. Among other areas, addenda would add provisions for vegetated terrace and roof systems and would affect the operation and maintenance of vegetated roofs. Click here for more information.
