COVID forced most organizations to transform their workplace from a traditional in-office, fixed seating arrangement to an indefinitely remote workforce. Organizations had to quickly react and reevaluate the workplace and the workforce to ensure safety and security. They readjusted their cleaning practices and air filtration. They had to rethink workplace seating to ensure social distancing. Temperature testing and contact tracing helped keep sick tenants from entering the building.
There were a lot of mitigation strategies and no one got it completely right.
This presentation looks at how facility managers can assess and manage risks in their facility, especially during emergencies such as a pandemic. With this information, they can better focus on the potential risks and provide both short- and long-term solutions.
