For years building owners and managers have struggled to try to understand cybersecurity for building control systems. Additionally, trying to find and adapt standards to create the "right-sized" framework for building controls.
In this session, Fred Gordy, Director, OT Risk Assessment for Michael Baker International, introduces viewers to BCS (BuildingCyberSecurity.org)/ISA (International Society of Automation) 62443, adapted specifically for building control systems, and how to implement foundational elements that will increase the cyber resilience of their building systems.
Also covered will be the responsibilities of the asset owner and service providers as well as how to perform risk assessments and select and configure systems to meet minimum cybersecurity requirements.
