As gas and electric prices continue to rise, the need to reduce energy used in a building is of the utmost importance. Couple that with stakeholders need for transparency on environmental, social and governance (ESG), facilities managers are finding more and more ways to be energy efficient or Net Zero among their facilities.
These three sessions from the Net Zero/Energy Efficiency Virtual Summit focus on strategies to lower or neutralize your energy usage including reviewing new technology, working with utility partners, and planning for Net Zero.
"Starting With Zero" with Saagar Patel: To develop a net zero plan, it is important to understand the different approaches. This session will baseline industry terminology to help building owners and operators develop their overall net zero strategy.
"More than 5 Ways to Balance Energy with Healthy Buildings – How to Stay Ahead of the Game" with Jim Newman: Building owners and facility managers must plan for the new ways for which buildings will be used. They need to understand the use of emerging technologies for both energy conservation, for indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and for indoor air quality (IAQ).
"Net Zero: Achieving Best Practice Energy Performance and Making a Difference on Climate Change" with Alexi Miller and Kevin Carbonnier: Net zero energy and low-carbon operations are achievable with planning for upgrades that maximize envelope and efficiency equipment interactions. This session will cover the relationship between net zero energy performance and low carbon operations.
