Wayfinding systems can be much more than a series of plaques on the wall. In order to help facility occupants and visitors find their way, consider the whole package. Other interior elements, such as flooring, paint colors and visual landmarks can help orient visitors quickly. These visual cues make wayfinding and egress easier for every visitor, from children to people with disabilities. Facility employees will appreciate the amount of time they don't have to spend directing visitors when a thoughtful wayfinding system is implemented.
