4 Reasons that Polished Concrete Is Attracting Interest

Polished concrete now represents 15 to 20 percent of the total “flooring” installed each year. Concrete flooring is an exposed concrete floor that provides and flat, durable finish and working surface; it can appear utilitarian or architectural, depending on the installation techniques and finishing processes. It is permanent and once it is installed it cannot easily be removed. It is highly durable and may contribute points toward LEED certification. It has a low life cycle costs and is sanitary since it has no grout and clean concrete will not act as a host for mold.
