The “Happiest Place on Earth” turned scary when guests were forced to evacuate a ride at Disney World’s Epcot resort due to plumes of black smoke due to a fire.
A walk-in cooler reportedly “caught fire” at the France Pavilion away from guests. Out of caution, Ratatouille Adventure ride was evacuated. The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported, Disney officials said. The pavilion was temporarily closed but opened an hour after the fire occurred.
The fire occurred during the busy season for Disney World as thousands of families travel to the theme park for spring break.
