National Time & Signal 541S fire alarm pull stations have been recalled because the handle can break when pulled and fail to activate the alarm system.

About 3,500 red and white rectangular pull stations are affected by this recall. They have “National Time” printed on the bottom and have a batch code 0805 sticker inside the pull station.

The company has received one report of the pull handle breaking during routine testing, according to U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall number 16-764. No injuries have been reported, according the recall notice.

The affected pull stations were particularly installed in the Michigan area from October 2005 to April 2007. Facility managers affected by this recall should contact the company for a free inspection and repair. National Time & Signal can be reached at 844-856-9177 and at www.natsco.net or www.sigcom.com.
