TAMPA, Fla. – With its recent acquisition of Marshfield Door Systems, Masonite®,  global manufacturer of interior, entry and patio doors, is pleased to announce the introduction of a router carved medium-density fiberboard (MDF) door collection.  Routed MDF doors have a superior heft and presence not found in traditional molded panel doors.

The collection is segmented into three separate product lines called Bolection®, Carte Blanche™ and CYMA™.  From the 65 standard designs in the CYMA line to the unlimited design flexibility of the Bolection line, there is a Masonite door to complement any décor.

“With the addition of the Bolection, Carte Blanche and CYMA product lines, we now offer an MDF door for virtually any interior door need, including fire door applications,” said Jason Caulk, director of product management, interior doors for Masonite. “Our customers will enjoy the added design flexibility, privacy, performance and value only available in a routed MDF door.”

The CYMA collection of residential interior doors is available immediately and includes 65 standard designs at a value driven, introductory price point.   The Bolection line of doors is a high-end offering that allows homeowners, designers and architects to create their own door designs.  Both CYMA and Bolection will be introduced by Masonite at the International Builder’s Show (IBS) February in Orlando.  The Carte Blanche collection, specifically designed for commercial applications, also includes 65 design styles and will be available through the Masonite Architectural Door Systems Division.

Produced at one of the two plants Masonite recently acquired from Marshfield Door Systems in Largo, Fla., and Greensboro, N.C., all three carved door lines are comprised of raised panel MDF doors that are constructed from a solid slab of medium-density fiberboard. Panel designs are routed, sized, machined and primed with a fully automated CNC machine and finishing line.
