The National Facilities Management & Technology Remix (NFMT Remix) Conference & Expo will be returning this month, this time to Las Vegas. Running from Oct. 29 to 30, 2024, in the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, there is much for attendees to experience.

There are three levels of registration: Expo Level (Free), Pro Level ($79) and Elite Level ($149). Expo Level grants access to the Expo Hall, Learning Labs, the Opening Day General Session and the Networking Party. Pro Level unlocks a few more benefits, such as Sessions & Huddles, Continuing Education Units and a $10 lunch coupon. Then, Pro Level gives admittees all the perks of the other levels plus a six-month fnPrime membership, access to the fnPrime Lounge & Swag Bag, access to the NFMT Video Library and another $10 lunch coupon.

The Expo Hall

At NFMT Remix’s core is the Expo Hall, a central point where all gather to see facilities management products and technologies put on display. The Expo Hall also features Learning Labs that are educational opportunities available for every attendee. These Labs provide 20 minutes of information about the latest product developments and insights into practical uses across many different facility types and industries.

Additionally, the Expo Hall will also host a Networking Party, running on Oct. 29 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This provides conference-goers a chance to grab drinks and snacks while mingling with facilities management colleagues and suppliers.

Sessions and Educational Tracks

NFMT Remix offers a wide variety of educational tracks for trade show attendees. Tracks for 2024 will be on the following topics:

  • Future Trends
  • Health & Safety
  • Leadership, Culture & Career Development
  • Maintenance & Operations
  • Security
  • Technology

Among the 30 sessions this year, offerings include topics such as “How Drones Saved My A%# (Budget)!,” “Lean Practices for Facility Maintenance,” Developing Your Team for Long-term Success,” and “Evaluating Risk: Funding Building Retrofit and M&O Projects,” among others.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 8 a.m., Pro and Elite registrants can attend  the Women in FM Panel and Breakfast.  The panel will discuss challenges and triumphs, advocate for the sustained visibility women in facilities leadership, and share perspectives on what drives them to be part of the community. A light reception with continental breakfast will be served prior to the panel discussion.

Attendees are invited to become a part of the education during the FM Huddles. These attendee-driven 60-minute discussions cover an array of facilities management trends, including energy efficiency, emergency preparedness and young professionals. To close out Tuesday, there will be a “Huddle Happy Hour” where attendees can grab a beverage and choose one of three Huddles to join. Huddles are open to Pro and Elite/Prime attendees only.

Returning this year is the popular behind-the-scenes tour of the Bellagio Fountains, which will be on Oct. 30 in the morning.

Cash and prizes

With NFMT Remix taking place in Las Vegas, it makes sense that attendees have a chance to win some money

There is a daily cash prize drawing located on the Expo Floor – Product Zone Stage 2, where attendees can complete a ballot and submit it at Booth #401 for a chance to win cash. The drawing takes place 10 minutes before the Expo closes each day.

For more chances to win prizes, there is the Passport to Prizes which is available during Expo Hall hours. Attendees can take a trip through the Expo Hall and get their Passports stamped by participating exhibitors for an opportunity to win prizes each day of the show. Passports are provided at registration, and once they are completed, they can be dropped off in the ballot box at the fnPrime booth #525. Drawings are held 10 minutes prior to the Expo Hall closing.

For more networking opportunities, all fnPrime and Elite attendees are welcome to join the fnPrime Lounge for a complimentary soda and member-to-member networking. The Lounge is open both days on the show floor.
