A poll on LinkedIn recently went viral saying, "We should be TERRIFIED of the skilled trade worker shortage." According to UG2, it is expected that 53 percent of positions within the facilities management industry will remain open this year, leaving many teams scrambling to fill the gaps before other employees begin to leave due to burnout or injuries.
Still, many jobs are left unfilled because some candidates aren’t meeting the qualifications that hiring managers are looking for. Because of this, FacilitiesNet wants to hear from you. What should facility managers look for when it comes to new hires? Are you looking for facility related experience, technical skills or a positive attitude? Fill out the form below to let us know what you’re looking for. We won’t publish your name or your facility, we will just simply relay the message.
