IFMA and the Chemical Insights Research Institute (CIRI) have joined forces in a strategic partnership to grow knowledge about healthy indoor environments.
CIRI will add its own content, including research they have conducted and educational resources such as podcasts, articles, eLearning, webinars and presentations to IFMA’s Knowledge Library, which is used by more than 24,000 facilities professionals.
IFMA first established its Strategic Partner Associations program in 2021 to provide facilities professionals with a source of interdisciplinary skill-building training from noteworthy organizations in the industry. IFMA offers special training opportunities that focus on many mission-critical roles and covers a facility's entire operating life.
“The knowledge and research insights from CIRI will enable thousands of IFMA members to operate and maintain their facilities as top of class for occupant health and well-being,” says Marilyn Black, Ph.D., vice president and senior technical advisor for CIRI, in the press release. “One of CIRI and IFMA’s first partner collaborations will define actionable steps for healthy air during wildfires.”
