6th Annual Vision Awards Winners Announced

The 6th annual FacilitiesNet Vision Awards is pleased to recognize 36 manufacturers as the winners of its 2024 awards program.   August 29, 2024

The 6th annual FacilitiesNet Vision Awards is pleased to recognize 36 manufacturers as the winners of its 2024 awards program, along with acknowledging 23 manufacturers, who are receiving an honorable mention. The Vision Awards honor innovation and excellence in products contributing to the efficient, profitable operations and management of institutional and commercial buildings in the United States.

The Vision Awards recognize products, systems and technologies in 12 categories, including eight main categories and four bonus categories. The eight main categories are: Interior Furnishings & Materials; Building Maintenance, Grounds & Cleaning; HVAC; Analytics & Management Software; Lighting; Life Safety & Security; Plumbing & Restrooms; and Power & Renewable Energy. The four bonus categories are: Smart Buildings, Innovative Technology, Wellness & Sustainability, and New Products.

"The Vision Awards are a great indicator of the trends and challenges in facility management today," said Dan Weltin, Editor-in-Chief, Facility Market. "Every winner is a solution that can solve a problem or make buildings more efficient."

A total of 135 submissions were received this year, and products were scored by a panel of judges made up of Facility Influencers, winners of the FacilitiesNet Facility Champion Award, members of the Building Operating Management and Facility Maintenance Decisions Editorial Advisory Boards, and other prestigious facility managers.

The 2024 judges include: Shawn Black, Host of the Service Evolution Podcast; Kris Byk, Director of Operations for Watchung Hills Regional High School; Brian Cowperthwaite, Senior Director of Operations and Maintenance for the University of Chicago; Doug Diaz, Director-Facilities Optimization for Clark County School District; Andy Gager, CEO of AMG International Consulting; John Rimer, President and Senior Consultant for FM360 LLC; Maureen Roskoski, Vice President of FEA; Keith Tate, Facilities Management Director for Polk County, Florida; Charles Thomas, Facility Operations Consultant for LACE Management; and Tom Vosloh, Director of Facilities for Whitman-Walker Health.
