It can be argued that Yasmine Alloul, vice president, engineering and facilities management at Munich Airport NJ LLC, built her team from the ground up. Beginning with only three contract managers, she was able to expand the crew by adding a FM help desk and project coordinators, steadily growing the team to 15 members and two interns.
With a strong team behind her, Alloul felt confident to leave them to run operations while she visited airports worldwide to study and understand their management styles, resulting in her receiving the ACI-ICAO. During her visit, she learned each airport’s best practice and implemented them into her facility. Because of this, the Munich Airport NJ earned the 5 Star Skytrax award and the World’s Best New Terminal award. Even with her accomplishments and accolades, Alloul regularly showcases her team’s achievements by presenting their projects during the airport’s bi-weekly meetings.
