The 22nd annual National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Conference and Expo took center stage last month, drawing thousands of facilities professionals from across the country to the Baltimore Convention Center to learn, network, and explore the latest products and services.

"NFMT 2024 was an undeniable success, bringing together a multitude of facilities professionals to the heart of Maryland for an enriching experience marked by the exchange of knowledge, the forging of meaningful connections, and the presentation of new innovative solutions," said Jill McDermott, CEO | GM at Trade Press Media Group, producer of NFMT and publisher of Building Operating Management, Facility Maintenance Decisions and FacilitiesNet. "This year's show was a testament to the ongoing commitment of facilities professionals to stay informed, connected, and ahead of industry trends."

Joseph Nasuta, Regional Director of Operations at Crothall Healthcare, attended NFMT 2024 and reflects on the importance of experiencing the education offerings, networking opportunities, and premier expo hall.

"I attended the training sessions, I did the networking sessions upstairs and then went through row by row of the exhibitors offering services," said Nasuta. "A lot of great contractors, a lot of new innovations they’re introducing."

Michael Latsu of the Maryland Department of Health attests why he continues to be a return attendee of NFMT.

“Valuable information!" said Latsu. "You get one-on-one advice counseling on services and products.”

NFMT 2024 offered attendees 85 educational sessions, an expo hall with over 300 exhibitors, and ample networking opportunities throughout the three-day show.

The education and conference sessions at NFMT 2024 were highly regarded for offering attendees a wealth of practical knowledge.

"Nothing beats our exclusive panel discussions," said Wendy Dietzler, Senior Director of Events at Trade Press Media Group. "Our Women in FM and Facility Influencer discussions offered real and relatable insights, and sessions on Intelligent Building Technologies and Integrating Safety into Facilities Management introduced innovative and actionable strategies. This mix of session styles contributed to a collaborative learning environment and provided facilities professionals with the critical tools and insights needed to improve their facilities and operations."

New to NFMT this year was Clean Buildings Conference (CBC), a premier educational conference and product expo specially designed for the commercial cleaning industry. Co-located with NFMT, CBC attracted hundreds of leading cleaning industry professionals from across the county, hosted 20-plus expert-led education sessions, a bustling expo hall with cutting-edge cleaning products on display, and plenty of networking opportunities over the course of two days, which NFMT attendees had full access to. CBC will return to the Baltimore Convention Center next year March 25-26, 2025. Early registration is available now

In conjunction with CBC, NFMT will also return to the Baltimore Convention Center next year March 25-27, 2025. Early registration is also available now

Prior to next year’s shows in Baltimore, NFMT Remix will be held October 29-30, 2024, at the Paris Conference Center in Las Vegas. Facilities professionals are invited to attend. Details can be found at NFMT.com.
