Building Operating Management Launches Facility Influencer Program
Industry experts will contribute with magazine articles, NFMT seminars, community networking, and more. September 8, 2023
In a world that thrives on connection and authenticity, media influencers have emerged as powerful voices shaping opinions, sparking trends, and influencing purchasing behavior.
To that end, Building Operating Management is excited to announce the launch of its Facility Influencer program.
Influencers play a pivotal role in reader engagement through their ability to establish connections with their audiences. With their unique perspectives and personal stories, influencers bring authenticity to the forefront, establishing a sense of trust and credibility.
Members of the Facility Influencer program are leading voices and experts in the facility management industry. The Facility Influencers include:
- Shawn Black, Host of the Service Evolution Podcast
- John Rimer, President and Senior Consultant, FM360, LLC
- Maureen Roskoski, Vice President at FEA
- Charles M. Thomas, Facility Operations Consultant with LACE Management
- Jim Turner, Senior Project Manager, Jacobs
These individuals will contribute articles to Building Operating Management magazine and FacilitesNet.com; speak at NFMT live shows, as well as FacilitiesNet virtual events; interact with Building Operating Management readers and fnPrime members; judge the annual Vision Awards program; and, similar to social media influencers, promote their expertise via social feeds.
"This inaugural group of Facility Influencers includes some of the top names in facility management," says Dan Weltin, Editor-in-Chief, Facility Market. "We've worked with these great individuals before and are excited that this new program will showcase their expertise to an even wider audience. We look forward to this new era of collaboration."
Upcoming Facility Influencer activity includes the announcement of the 2023 Vision Award winners; an article about artificial intelligence in the September issue of Building Operating Management; and an upcoming “Ask the Expert” online fnPrime event in September.
Look for more contributions from the Facility Influencers throughout the rest of the year.
