Every year, products designed to improve such areas of facilities as energy efficiency, safety, reliability, accessibility, and sustainability enter the marketplace. And every year, managers pore over information from manufacturers in an effort to match their specific facility needs to an available offering.
To give managers guidance in narrowing their product and technology options, the inaugural 2019 Vision Awards recently announced the recipients of its first-ever awards. The awards honor innovation and excellence in products that contribute to the efficient and profitable operations and management of institutional and commercial buildings in the United States.
The Vision Awards recognize products, systems and technologies in 10 categories: Exteriors, FM Building Services/Tools, Grounds, HVAC, Interiors, Life Safety & Security, Lighting, Power, Plumbing, and Smart Buildings Technology.
Vision Award winners will be recognized at the NFMT Orlando Conference and Expo in November, on FacilitiesNet.com and in the December 2019 issue of Building Operating Management magazine.
