Disney Guest Sues Over Traumatic Brain Injury after Bird Attack

A Florida woman is suing the Walt Disney World Resort after she was allegedly attacked by seasonal nesting birds in May of 2017, according to The New York Post.

The woman claims the resort knew that seasonal nesting birds were a threat to guests but refused to do anything about them.

The woman says she suffered a severe brain injury after being “dive-bombed” by a seasonal migrating bird at a Walt Disney World Resort. Her lawyer would not say what kind of bird in question.

The lawsuit claims that Disney knows about the threat, but refused to tell hotel guests. The woman had been walking along a dock at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort when she was attacked, the suit said.

The woman is reportedly seeking unspecified damages in excess of $15,000.
