Institutional and commercial facilities change. Maintenance and engineering departments expand and contract. Technology advances, and regulations and standards grow more complex.
Keeping pace with the evolution of everything facilities is more than a full-time job, as any manager can attest. For outside observers like me, the changes are even more dizzying to monitor and understand. That’s why I need help. Among the names on the masthead to my left are those of the editorial advisory board for Facility Maintenance Decisions.
What do the members of an editorial advisory board do? Think of them as front-line resources who volunteer to help the magazine’s editors make sense of the constant swirl of issues that affect maintenance, engineering and operations in institutional and commercial facilities. They help identify trends, develop editorial coverage, locate sources and generally serve as our sounding board.
This year, we have a new group of directors and managers who agreed to lend us their insights and ideas, all to bring you up-to-date, critical information designed to help you navigate the challenges that facilities present. The new members are:
