fnPrime Gives FMs New Option for In-Depth Facilities Information

The new subscription service is an innovation that allows us to better meet your changing and specific informational needs.

By Edward Sullivan

The “new normal” is the bland phrase we use to describe our adjusted expectations after a disruption to the way we live or work. It emerges gradually as we take small steps from the old ways into the unknown. Even before COVID-19 hit, the facility management profession had been moving toward a new normal for years. So had media companies. For both facility managers and content developers, the pandemic has raised a new set of issues to be dealt with as we find our paths to the next new normal. But the pandemic has not altered the underlying impetus for transformation — the need to keep up with the evolving requirements and expectations of the people we serve.

For Building Operating Management, of course, the people we serve includes you.

In the past three decades, the magazine has been the springboard for development of a series of information products, including FacilitiesNet.com, an industry portal that is the online home of Building Operating Management, and NFMT, the National Facilities Management and Technology conference and exposition.

Now our facilities group is launching another innovation: fnPrime. Facility managers who join fnPrime’s membership community will receive 12 months of access to exclusive analysis, practical advice, and top quality education. fnPrime will offer members reports, webcasts, eBooks, and benefits at NFMT.

fnPrime has been on the drawing board for months. Work on the project moved into high gear when Dan Weltin joined the facility group as chief editor, product development, in January. The new program will draw on the same experienced team of editors, education professionals, and independent experts that is responsible for Building Operating Management, FacilitiesNet.com, NFMT, Facility Maintenance Decisions, HealthcareFacilitiesToday.com, and Critical Facilities Connect. With fnPrime, we will be able to provide content that is even more  targeted and in-depth.

We’re excited about the opportunity that fnPrime offers us to meet your changing needs. You can learn more about fnPrime on the facing page or online at facilitiesnet.com/fnPrime.
