Coming back once again to Baltimore this March, NFMT brings a robust offering of education sessions, exhibitors and many opportunities to network.

The National Facilities Management & Technology (NFMT) Conference & Expo returns to Baltimore in March. Running from March 25 to 27, 2025, at the Baltimore Convention Center in the Inner Harbor, this year’s show offers plenty of robust experiences and opportunities for attendees. NFMT is put on by TPMG, the same company behind Facility Maintenance Decisions and FacilitiesNet.com. Readers of these products will find the same level of quality information at the show as they do with these brands.

At the heart of the show is the Expo Hall, a hub where attendees can discover the latest technologies and products from more than 300 exhibitors. Attendees can discover the latest innovations in HVAC, plumbing, maintenance tools, fire safety and more.

While checking out the exhibitor booths, be sure to bring along your Passport to Prizes and get the necessary stamps. Passports are handed out at Registration and once an entrant has collected all the stamps, they can drop their passport off in the ballot box at the NFMT Main Stage. Prize drawings are held at the Main Stage 10 minutes before the Expo Hall closes.

There are also plenty of educational opportunities to be found on the show floor. The Learning Labs are 20-minute educational sessions that offer insights into real-world applications for many different facility types and fields. There are more than 30 sessions in total, ranging from productivity in facility maintenance to digital forms and QR codes for task management. The sessions are free to all attendees, and they run from Tuesday, March 25 to Thursday, March 27.

In addition to the Learning Labs, attendees can hear from industry experts at Show Central. In this area of the show floor, editors of Facility Maintenance Decisions will be hosting 20-minute conversations with a variety of industry leaders, including magazine columnists, show speakers and influencers.

Networking

NFMT offers plenty of opportunities to network with other professionals in facilities management and related fields. Aside from the Expo Hall, where companies and customers can meet up, there are two networking events open to all attendees.

First is the Icebreaker Networking Lunch at the NFMT Cafe on Tuesday, March 25. Grab a hot dog or slice of pizza and find a table to strike up a conversation with your peers. After the show floor closes on day one, attendees can head upstairs to the Networking Party in the Pratt Street Lobby. There will be plenty of complimentary drinks, appetizers and fun. It’s the perfect way to end the first day.

Kicking off day two, Wednesday, March 26, is the Solutions Roundtables. This popular event has been moved to the morning but still offers attendees a chance to network with peers and manufacturers. Grab a light breakfast and bring your questions and challenges.

Also on Wednesday, all Pro and Elite level attendees are welcome to join the highly anticipated Women in FM Panel and Reception at 3:40 p.m. Following the session will be a reception with complimentary drinks and appetizers.

Finally, after the main event, attendees are invited to join their peers and the NFMT crew for a send-off gathering at NFMT’s After Party on Thursday, March 27 from 3:40 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Grab a drink in the NFMT Beer Garden and create a few more connections. There could even be a few surprises from the NFMT crew!

Education sessions

All attendees are welcome to attend the General Session on Tuesday. Presenting this year is Andy Gager, Facility Maintenance Decisions columnist and president of CEO of AMG International Consulting. Gager is a popular speaker who regularly covers leadership, improving facility departments and preventing deferred maintenance.

NFMT also offers a wide selection of conference sessions available to both Pro and Elite attendees. These are 60-minute sessions that dive into different areas of facilities management, such as fire safety, active shooter prevention, AI, and more. Some popular sessions include “Fall Protection or Fall Prevention,” “Boiler and HVAC Rental 101” and “Maintaining and Optimizing Modern Facilities in the Digital Age.” All sessions offer continuing education units.

In addition to traditional education sessions, Pro and Elite attendees can take part in Huddle discussions. These sessions are a bit more casual and focus on a specific trend in facilities management. They are meant to engage with attendees in an interactive and intimate environment to allow for collaboration and answer attendee questions. Topics include emergency preparedness, staff development, hiring, outsourcing, and more. Each Huddle is staffed with a seasoned moderator who will help steer the course of the conversation.

Registration levels and perks

There are three registration tiers for NFMT: Expo Level (free), Pro Level ($79) and Elite Level ($149). Expo Level enables access to the Expo Hall, Learning Labs, the General Session and both Networking events. Pro Level unlocks the other NFMT sessions, continuing education units and a $10 lunch coupon. Lastly, the Elite Level gives access to all the available perks, an extra lunch coupon, a 6-month fnPrime membership and access to the NFMT Video Library.

For attendees with an Elite registration and/or a fnPrime membership, there is also the fnPrime Lounge which offers complimentary soda and snacks and member-to-member networking. Attendees of the lounge can meet NFMT staff and learn more about their fnPrime memberships and upcoming benefits.

NFMT is co-located with the Clean Buildings Conference, a premier conference showcasing the latest cleaning innovations and trends. All attendees can visit Clean Buildings Conference exhibitors in the shared Expo Hall. Pro and Elite level attendees can also attend the cleaning-focused education sessions.
