Earlier this year we held our NFMT show in Baltimore after a three-year gap. I've never seen attendees so happy to be at a trade show. Now, our NFMT Remix event is heading back to Las Vegas this fall and I'm anticipating that same level of excitement. I hope you'll be able to join me at the Paris Las Vegas Resort Nov. 2-3 for NFMT Remix.

It's been four years since we were in "Sin City" and while the world has certainly changed, attendees will be relieved to know that some of their favorite aspects of the show remain the same. Namely, I'm talking about the quality education attendees expect at NFMT events. This year there are six tracks focusing on key areas of energy, technology, safety, leadership, maintenance and operational efficiency. Some of the 60-minute sessions focus on the hybrid workplace, capital planning, resiliency, fire safety, ADA, indoor air quality and much more.

In addition to these sessions, we'll be hosting something new — conference Think Tanks. These 60-minute informal discussions are focused around either a specific building type or trend, allowing attendees to network with each other in a small group environment. Attendees bring the questions and conversations (though a moderator will be present to help guide the process).

If you are looking for more product-specific answers, check out the Product Zone Sessions held in the expo hall. These 20-minute sessions focus on innovative technology and products that solve current and future challenges.

Of course, it wouldn't be a trade show without a networking party, and NFMT Remix is no different. After years of social distancing, facility managers are encouraged to gather and mingle with their peers. The free networking happy hour takes place on Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the expo hall. Attendees will be able to network with fellow facility managers, but also visit exhibitor booths, all the while eating and drinking.

While many things are similar to the last time the show was in Las Vegas, some things are a little different. Attendees now have three options when they register: Basic (Free), Pro ($29), and Elite ($149). Each registration option comes with different levels of access. Basic grants entry to the expo hall and networking party. Pro adds on the education sessions. Finally, Elite provides everything above, as well as a behind-the scenes tour of the Bellagio Fountains, the ability to watch NFMT Remix videos on demand after the event, and a 6-month fnPrime membership that features past NFMT content, exclusive ebooks and monthly virtual networking opportunities.

NFMT Remix is shaping up to be an amazing event and we are excited for its return to Las Vegas. I hope to see you there. You can find more information and register at nfmt.com/vegas.
